Challenge

Imago Dei Fund sought to support grassroots community leaders and faith inspired change agents in developing their new projects focused on gender equality, knowing that Global South leaders’ access to seed funding is severely limited.

Process/Solution

RMC proposed a co-creation process with community leaders. With community leaders and Imago Dei Fund leadership we helped to co-design, develop, implement and support a successful global Gender Equality Seed Fund for 11 Grantee Partners in various countries of Africa, Europe and the Americas. 

Outcomes

The pilot project leveraged community leaders’ experience and commitment to create significant impact in their communities. Projects included advocacy initiatives of sexual abuse survivors, entrepreneurship training for women refugees in Germany, gender equality training for African clergy leaders, period hygiene projects supporting girls and boys education and training, among others.
